MSC announces family villa aboard MSC World Atlantic

04/11/2026

On October 21, 2026, MSC Cruises unveiled the Grand Hamptons Villa, a two-storey family accommodation for up to eight guests. It is set to be offered exclusively aboard MSC World Atlantic from November 2027, with the ship scheduled to operate from Port Canaveral. With the announcement, the cruise line combines its premium MSC Yacht Club offering with spacious accommodation designed to support travel shared across generations.

How MSC combines family travel and the Yacht Club

MSC positions the villa as part of the evolution of its premium family offering. In the announcement, CEO Gianni Onorato pointed to demand for family and multigenerational travel, saying that new accommodation and experiences would further develop this area. The Grand Hamptons Villa includes access to exclusive MSC Yacht Club areas, as well as 24-hour butler and concierge service.

For the onboard offering, this combination expands the premium concept: the villa provides private, connected accommodation for up to eight guests, bringing together shared living spaces and Yacht Club service. According to the cruise line, its approximately 230 square metres include both indoor and outdoor areas. MSC describes the concept as suited to larger families, multigenerational families and two families travelling together.

Shared living, with separate sleeping areas

The living and leisure areas form the heart of the villa. A high-ceilinged living room connects the two decks, alongside a dining area, a kitchenette, a bar and an entertainment loft with a private cinema lounge. A climbing tower leads to an interactive play area with a secret door. The private main terrace will feature a whirlpool and seating areas. This creates space for shared meals and leisure time, while guests can spread out across several rooms when it is time to sleep.

The layout includes a master suite, a separate double-bed cabin, a twin-bed room and a dedicated children’s suite. The master suite is set to include a walk-in wardrobe, a private balcony with sea views and an outdoor shower. The children’s suite is planned to have bunk beds with individual screens and a private bathroom.

What’s changing in World Atlantic’s stateroom offering

The Grand Hamptons Villa is set to be available exclusively aboard MSC World Atlantic. This gives the new ship a distinctive family offering within its accommodation programme, alongside access to the Yacht Club and personalised service.

The Caribbean voyages announced for the launch from Port Canaveral are set to alternate between seven and 14 nights, visiting the Eastern and Western Caribbean. MSC names Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas among the destinations. The ship is scheduled to enter service in November 2027; further details of the concept are available in the MSC announcement of October 21, 2026.
