MSC World Asia expands its selection of included restaurants and snacks

Five stands bring together fresh, quick dishes

On October 26, MSC Cruises shared further details about the dining options aboard MSC World Asia. Five stands at the Aqua Food Market on the Aqua Deck are set to serve guests freshly prepared dishes. The options include salads made to order, fries, sandwiches, pita and desserts. MSC classifies these choices as included offerings. For guests, this means more options for a casual meal without having to plan around a full-service restaurant every time.

Quick bites for short breaks are also planned in other areas of the ship. According to MSC, these include Buffet Grab & Go, Promenade Bites and The Harbour Bar & Bites in the family area. Pizza and burgers are set to be available around the clock near Luna Park. The Pan-Asian offering will include a daytime service window with included dishes such as seafood balls and bao. This is separate from the paid Pan-Asian restaurant and its accompanying bar.

The announced total of 20 restaurants and dining venues comprises five main restaurants, six specialty restaurants, two buffets and seven fast-casual options. The five main restaurants include an area reserved exclusively for Yacht Club guests. The figure of 20 covers the full range of dining options on board; included restaurants and dining venues make up only part of that total.

Eataly adds Italian cuisine to the selection

On October 15, MSC had already announced an Eataly restaurant aboard MSC World Asia. Following the opening of the first Eataly restaurant at sea aboard MSC World America, it will be the brand’s second venue on an MSC ship. Italian classics and regional dishes are planned. Show cooking, tableside cooking and a terrace are also set to define the restaurant. MSC presents Eataly as part of its brand partnerships and distinctive onboard dining concept.

MSC is therefore combining quick meals included in the fare with restaurants from well-known brands. This gives guests more choices for different meals on board.

Mediterranean sailings set to begin in December

Seven-night Mediterranean sailings aboard MSC World Asia are scheduled to begin on December 4, 2026. The new dining options add to the onboard offering for the start of the winter season.
