SHIP OVERVIEW

Discover Amore

The MS Amore is a Croatian motor sailer built in 2011, with 40 guest beds in 19 cabins. I.D. Riva Tours offers week-long Adriatic cruises departing from Trogir in 2027; a separate two-week option is also listed.

Cruising area and duration

The week-long T3 route runs from Trogir via Split, Hvar, Mljet, Dubrovnik, Korčula and Brač, returning to Trogir. Dates under the route codes TD and TC are also scheduled for 2027, along with a separate two-week T8 trip. The published calendars explicitly name the Amore for selected departures. T3 combines longer coastal and island passages with swimming stops and shore visits. Guests spend the evenings in port towns; in Dubrovnik, arrival is scheduled for the afternoon, with an overnight stay. The ports used may change: when berths are scarce, the operator lists nearby alternatives, including for Split and Hvar.

The weekly itinerary begins on Saturday with embarkation in Trogir and a swimming stop off Split. The next day, the ship heads to Hvar; an overnight stay in the small harbor depends on berth availability. On Mljet, the possible overnight ports of Pomena and Polače are close to the national park. The ship reaches Dubrovnik late Tuesday afternoon; a guided tour and time in the old town are planned. After visiting Korčula and Brač, the Amore returns to Trogir on Friday, where guests disembark on Saturday after breakfast. The operator notes that weather, local conditions and port capacity may require changes or a reversal of the route.

SE-Tours also describes an eight-day cycling and cruise program with seven nights on board. The Amore sails between daily cycling tours on Brač, Korčula, Mljet, Šipan, the Pelješac Peninsula, Hvar and Šolta. The stages include destinations such as Dubrovnik, with boat trips connecting the islands and cycling routes. This format differs from the week-long T3 cruise: the daily schedule is shaped more strongly by the cycling tour.

The ship and life on board

The motor sailer is 40 meters long and 8 meters wide. Four crew members look after up to 40 guests. The 19 cabins are spread across the lower, main and upper decks and provide 40 beds in total. In addition to twin and double cabins, there are two cabins with three berths. Every cabin has a private shower and toilet, as well as individually controlled air conditioning. Published cabin sizes range from 14 to 16 square meters.

The air-conditioned salon is used for dining and as a shared indoor space. Outside, the sun deck offers sun loungers and seating; for the 2024 season, the operator had it extended and added a whirlpool. At the stern, a swim platform with a shower makes it easier to access the sea. Croatian, English and German are spoken on board.
