Mein Schiff 4 is a cruise ship operated by TUI Cruises and part of the Blue-Motion series. Meyer Turku delivered the newbuild, completed in 2015, to the cruise line; it was the second newly built ship in the series. The ship sails under the Maltese flag and is registered in Valletta. For the itinerary, Valletta is the port of registry, while Trieste and Palma are seasonal ports of embarkation and disembarkation.
The summer 2026 schedule featured alternating seven-night Adriatic round trips departing from and returning to Trieste, each with four ports of call. One route called at Kotor, Corfu, Zadar and Koper; the other at Bari, Dubrovnik, Kotor and Split. This meant that excursion destinations along the eastern Adriatic coast and on the islands alternated with Italian and Greek ports.
The autumn schedule included a voyage from Trieste to Palma: a ten-night itinerary via Split, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Catania, Salerno and Civitavecchia was scheduled for October 11β21, 2026. From October 21 to November 1, the program listed an eleven-night round trip from and to Palma, with calls at Valencia, Cagliari, Valletta, Catania, Salerno, Civitavecchia and Barcelona. These were the published voyage dates and port sequences.
The additional winter schedule, with departures from and returns to Palma shows the subsequent voyages in the western Mediterranean.
Meyer Turku describes Mein Schiff 4 as the second new ship in the Blue-Motion series, following Mein Schiff 3 and preceding the sister ships Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 6. According to the shipyard, around 90 percent of passengers can enjoy a sea view; TUI lists approximately 17,795 square meters of outdoor deck space. Distinctive areas include the Studio, with its holographic stage, a 25-meter outdoor pool and a 280-meter-long running track. The glass-walled observation point, the Blue Balcony, is 37 meters above the sea; at the stern, the Diamant glass façade spans two decks. The Studio distinguishes Mein Schiff 4 from Mein Schiff 3, which is equipped with the Klanghaus.
According to TUI Cruises, the ship is 293 meters long and 35.8 meters wide; Meyer Turku gives its length as 293.2 meters and its gross tonnage as 99,526 GT. TUI rounds the tonnage to approximately 99,500 GT. Its top speed is around 21.7 knots. Meyer Turku lists total engine output at 48,000 kilowatts and propulsion power at 28,000 kilowatts; the draft is 8.05 meters. Meyer Turku gives the passenger capacity as 2,506, and the crew comprises around 1,000 members. The operator lists nine restaurants and bistros, as well as 15 bars and lounges; the categories are counted separately. TUI puts the spa and fitness area at approximately 1,700 square meters.
