Yangzi Explorer (historic)

Abercrombie & Kent announced the Yangzi Explorer as a river cruise ship on the Yangzi in 2008.

Name history

In 2008, the ship operated under the name Yangzi Explorer. In 2025, the newly built Yangzi Explorer began commercial service on the Yangtze. The two vessels belong to separate generations of ships.

2008 programme

A total of 64 departures were scheduled from July to December. The upstream route to Chongqing was planned to take four nights and five days; the downstream route to Yichang was scheduled for three nights and four days.
