Lago Escondido
An excursion to the centre and the north of the island. Coach trip through the valleys of Carbajal, Altos del Valle, Tierra Mayor and Las Cotorras. Ascent of the pass "Paso Garibaldi", which lies at an altitude of 450 m above sea level. This pass crosses over the Andes chain, which bisects the island from east to West, reaching Lago Escondido. The descent takes in the HosterÃa Petrel on the banks of Lago Escondido.
Penguins and the Beagle Channel
The catamaran takes you along the Beagle Channel out of the Bay of Ushuaia into the impressive flora and fauna of the region. On Hammer Island there is a colony of Magellan penguins which populates this region from October to March.
Land of Fire - National park & Beagle Channel
Combined land and water excursion. A coach trip through the forests of the Tierra del Fuego National Park, before continuing to the Bay of Lapataia on the Beagle Channel, Laguna Verde and Lake Roca. National Highway No. 13 - the last 3000 km of the Panamericana which runs the entire length of the American continent from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego - ends at the Bay of Lapataia. It's then on to the panorama boat for a trip through the Beagle Channel, along the coast to the "Fin del Mundo (end of the world)" lighthouse. The trip continues to the "Les Eclaireus" lighthouse before returning to the landing stage.
