Botanical Garden of Pamplemousses and island tour
In the small town of Pamplemousses, around 12 km to the north east of the capital city of Port Louis, there is a botanical garden which is really worth a visit. 600 plant species from all over the world, even from the Amazon basin, have been brought together on the site which covers 37 hectares. The most magnificent plant displays can be admired here in the months of December through to April.
