Cruise Shipping Miami 2012 – the cruise industry conference of the year


In Miami began its work one of the biggest marketing events in the cruise business - Cruise Shipping Miami conference. The main cruise port of the world will host, perhaps, the most representative tourism industry event from 12 to 15 March 2012.

Cruise Shipping Miami will be held in the Miami Beach Convention Center. 10,000 participants will find a huge number of proposals, seminars and courses from the leading industry representatives. This event creates ideal opportunities for establishing relations between suppliers and consumers of cruise services.

Cruise Shipping Miami is one of the most representative exhibitions in the cruise business. Last year Cruise Shipping Miami was visited by 121 region of the planet. This year the organizers hope to surpass the last year attendance, if not successful, then at least to repeat it.

This year in Cruise Shipping Miami will take part about 1000 representatives of the cruise market. It is expected that the conference will be visited by more than 1800 professionals representing different management levels of cruise companies, including its owners. Headquarters of a large number world's leading cruise operators are located in Miami - Carnival, Royal Caribbean and NCL. The top management of these companies will be traditionally presented at the Cruise Shipping Miami.

One of the central events of the exhibition will be a global seminar "State of the industry", which will be attended by many well-known cruise companies. One of the particularly interesting reports will be presented by Howard Frank, the vice-president of the Carnival Corporation, who will offer his vision of current problems of the cruise industry in the light of recent events affecting the entire business. First of all, is crushing of the Costa Concordia cruise ship near Italy, which consequences for the cruise industry are still to be determined.

In addition, the heads of the world's leading cruise companies - Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises and Holland America Line - will discuss the industry development issues at the round table.
