Holland America Line will become vegetarian


Fashion for healthy eating and vegetarianism has finally reached one of the largest cruise lines in the world. Holland America Line announced that in the current season it will provide passengers with a new vegetarian menu.
 

Alternative vegetarian menu is a new Holland America Line feature. Moreover, in addition to the main menu the company’s ships will offer 30 new separate vegetarian dishes.

As for the new menu, it was developed by one of the most famous chefs of the cruise industry - Rudi Sodamin. He has specially created 22 dishes containing only natural products. Salads, appetizers, soups and main dishes - all of them are included in the new menu and available for the Holland America Line passengers on request. New vegetarian menu is offered without special bonuses. It can be ordered on each of the 15 company’s ships in the main dining room.

Vietnamese rolls, Portobello mushroom soup, Garbanzo salad and sweet Tempura - these are some of the exotic names from the new menu.

Holland America Line can rightfully position their offer as the "most vegetarian cruises in the world". Today vegetarian menu on the company’s ships is the most representative and diverse among all the cruise companies of the world.

Holland America Line pays attention to its cuisine. One of the best cruise restaurants in the world - Canaletto – can be found on several ships of the company: Veendam, Rotterdam, Maasdam, Ryndam and Statendam.

Holland America Line is a luxury cruise company. This operator has received a number of prestigious awards and prizes. Penthouse Verandah Suite on the Nieuw Amsterdam liner owned by Holland America Line is among the 10 most luxurious cruise cabins in the world.
