Riding tour of Quebec City
The Jacques Cartier Park is located in the highlands of the Laurentian Mountains. The three-hour ride along the mountain slopes and water courses will offer an opportunity to get to know Quebec's largest wildlife reserve. Here you can enjoy the charm and tranquillity of the high mountain plateau, secluded in the middle of dense forest. The guide will then welcome the participants; there then follow some brief instructions and the saddling of the horses. A packed lunch will be provided after the ride and the return to the park.
By bike to the Montmorency Falls
Get on your bike: a way of exploring the area around the St. Laurence River which is both exciting and good exercise. Past the Domaine Maizeret, a historic site with landscape gardens, over the St. Charles River and along the yacht harbour to the Montmorency Waterfalls. It's then into the cable car for the ascent up to the summit of the mountain. During the ascent to the summit there will be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to admire the breathtaking view with the natural spectacle of the Montmorency River plunging almost 100 m off the cliff edge into the depths, where it joins the St. Laurence River. After a short break for photos it's further downhill along the Avenue Royale, the area's largest shopping street, which was built towards the end of the 17th century.

The historic city quarter of Quebec offers any number of attractive places to have dinner. Everything is on hand: from cosy bistros to elegant restaurants with haute cuisine for refined tastes. To give the excursion a certain nostalgic flavour and to allow the participants to enjoy the full delights of the narrow streets and architecture of this historic district, a horse and carriage will be on hand for the journey to the restaurant. The coachman will be dressed in 19th century costume and will give information about the city during the journey. The restaurant will offer a selected menu consisting of a welcome cocktail, a starter, a main dish of choice and a dessert. A high-quality wine will be included.
