Termessos
Visit to the archaeological city of Termessos at an altitude of 1,050 metres above sea level. Worth seeing are the cemetery with its wide variety of tombs, the temple complex and the Hellenic theatre - which in its heyday had 27 rows of seats with space for 4000 visitors. Termessos offers panoramic views of the coast and Antalya.
Perge and the Archaeological Museum of Antalya
Visit to the city of Perge, surrounded by walls from the Hellenic age, with its 10,000-seater theatre and agora. Then onwards to the Archaeological Museum with exhibits from the Palaeolithic and Neolithic eras. 11 halls, with, among other things, mythological statues, antique coins and carpets. The tour ends with a chance to sample local tea and to find out about Turkish carpets.
Aspendos, Side and Perge
Historical visit. The origins of the port and trading city of Aspendos are unknown. It was probably built around 1184 B.C.. by the Greeks. The ancient Greek city of Side is home to Turkey's most beautiful theatre. Lunch in a five-star hotel. Then on to Perge, which dates from the Hellenic era and is home to significant art treasures and a 10,000-seater theatre.
