Palmeira as a port of embarkation and disembarkation

Palmeira is located on Sal and serves as the port of embarkation and disembarkation on a Variety Cruises Cape Verde cruise. The eight-day itinerary begins on day one at the port of Palmeira: guests board between 3 and 4 p.m., dine together on board, and set off for Boa Vista at midnight. On day eight, the ship returns to Palmeira.

Route and island stops

After departing from Sal, the sample itinerary visits Sal Rei on Boa Vista, Praia on Santiago, São Filipe on Fogo, and Mindelo on São Vicente. It then continues to Porto Novo on Santo Antão before returning to Sal. The itinerary links six islands in the archipelago.
