Cruise ports in South Korea Cruises – Discover Busan and Incheon
Publish ports: 2. An overview for planning your cruise.
Discover all ports
A cruise to South Korea can combine a variety of city experiences. Busan pairs its waterfront with neighborhoods on coastal hillsides, while Incheon offers its own port-city attractions, including Chinatown and Wolmido. If you’re choosing between these ports of call or comparing itineraries, consider whether you’d prefer a walk through a distinctive neighborhood or several waterfront destinations.
How Busan and Incheon differ
Busan is known for Gamcheon Culture Village, with its terraced houses, narrow lanes, and murals. Incheon offers different highlights, such as Chinatown and Wolmido Island. The two port cities are therefore not interchangeable stops: they offer distinct cityscapes and shore-excursion destinations.
Choose one destination per port call
In Busan, you can plan Gamcheon as your main destination; add other neighborhoods only if your time in port and the return journey allow. In Incheon, it’s also a good idea to choose a destination and confirm the actual shuttle or transfer arrangements on the day of your visit. This keeps your plans focused on the specific port of call.
