Busan Cruise Terminals at the Port
Busan has several cruise berths spread across two port areas. The small North Port Cruise Terminal is on the mainland in the Dong-gu port district, east of Busan Station. It is near the large International Passenger Terminal, but is a separate facility. The larger International Passenger Terminal serves international ferries; however, the ferry terminal and the smaller North Port Cruise Terminal are separate facilities.
Another cruise pier is on Yeongdo Island at the Busan Yeong-Do Cruise Terminal. The facility is southeast of North Port and near the National Maritime Museum. The harbor waters lie between the two berth areas; Yeongdo is a separate island connected to the mainland by bridges. Which berth a ship uses depends on the specific itinerary.
City Center and Transport Hubs
Busan Station is on the mainland, west of the North Port terminals. The historic city district of Nampo-dong is farther southwest; the city government describes Nampo as Busan’s original center. This helps distinguish the station, city center and port in terms of their locations. The main railway station should also not be confused with one of the long-distance bus terminals.
The Busan Central Bus Terminal and Dongbu Inter-City Bus Terminal are both located at the Nopo Station transport hub in the north of the city. By contrast, the Seobu Inter-City Bus Terminal is near Sasang in the west. These different long-distance bus terminals serve different parts of the city, so “Busan” alone does not identify the right starting point for onward travel.
Gimhae Airport is northwest of the port and city center areas. It is some distance from the port and serves as a separate regional transport hub. For orientation, the locations can be arranged as follows: North Port and the railway station on the mainland, Yeongdo to the southeast, Nampo farther southwest, the Nopo bus hub to the north, and Gimhae Airport to the northwest. Busan and Incheon are port cities in South Korea; both are in the East Asian cruise region.

Excursions around Busan (South Korea)
Kyong-Ju, the ancient capital of Silla
A 1 1/2-hour coach trip takes participants in this all-day excursion to Kyong-Ju, classified by UNESCO as one of the world's ten most interesting tourist attractions. A visit to the Tumuli Park, an exhibition of royal tombs, followed by visits to the National Museum and the wooden temple of Pulkuksa. Lunch is included in the price and consists of a buffet with both Korean and international dishes, to the accompaniment of a folk show. There will then be an opportunity to buy souvenirs and handicrafts.
