Extended helicopter glacier trek
Guided glacier tour. Helicopter flight to Mendenhall glacier. A hiking and climbing tour of the glacier lasting about four hours. Total length of the tour about 6 1/4 hours. Please note: previous experience is not necessary. Participants must be in good physical shape and be able to walk about twelve kilometres.
Mendenhall Glacier and salmon breeding station
Visits to the Mendenhall glacier and a salmon farm: from late June to September there is the possibility of observing the salmon spawning, or, from May to early June, to feed the young salmon. The tour lasts 2 3/4 hours.
